Nuttall Street Bolton

Postby Dene Fisher » Sun Nov 13, 2016 11:41 am

Anybody know where Nuttall Street was in Bolton?
I've got ancestors living there in the late 1800's but I can't find it on any old maps
Thanks in advance

I have found streets that were demolished following destruction in the war and modernisation and therefore not on current maps. I found them by looking at old street directories, such as "Kelly's", and seeing which streets were either side. You can also sort it out by finding the family on the nearest dated census and switching backwards and forwards on the pages, again to see which streets were adjacent. Hope that helps a little.
