Isabella Booth

Hello. I am trying to find the maiden name of my 4 x grt grandmother.

Isabella was born in about 1797 in Skellingthorpe, Lincs, and was married to John Booth. They had six children - John was the first born in 1820 in Skellingthorpe (found his baptism) and then four more before their last child Betsy, born in 1832 in Skellingthorpe.
John Booth died in 1831 so never saw his last child born.

Isabella died on the 31st Dec 1860 and is buried in Skellingthorpe. Her daughter Betsy is on the 1861 census and she is listed as Niece to the head of the household. She is living with Thomas and Elizabeth Holmes in Bransby & Stourton, Lincs.

So my question is - if Thomas Holmes is her uncle then is Holmes her mother's maiden name, or is she related by birth to his wife Elizabeth? Elizabeth states she is from Skellingthorpe on this and the 1851 census - another clue to the family connection. Are Isabella and Elizabeth sisters (born within 3/4 years of each other so this would fit), if so what is Elizabeth's maiden name??

If I can find this hopefully it will give me some clues as to finding Isabella's parents.

I would appreciate any help however small in solving this puzzle.
Thank you
