Robert BLOOMER. Male Abt 1630/34 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England emigrated to Rye
Westchester, USA So I know that there were Bloomer in Birmingham. There were Attorneys and other trades folks who were Bloomers, but I cannot trace Robert back beyond his Marriage date.
Robert Bloomer no birth details, his marriage to Hannah Bottley in 1777 in Birmingham and all of their children and good continuity thereafter but I am stonewalled by the birth of Robert which I estimate between 1740 and 1760. It appears that the Bloomers are in Birmingham, but I am not sure.
I have tried IGI and many other sites looking for Roberts birth without success.
Do you have any suggestions please or can you help?
Many thanks

You may want to investigate these entries further:
Birmingham St Philip
Robert Prinsep Blomer, son of Robert and Jane Blomer (sic) bpt Sept 13 1753
siblings?? -
Jane bpt 4/4/1755, Mary 2/5/1759, Elizabeth 16/5/1760, all same church, same parents.

Wrong place but I wonder if these might be the parents of Robert Princep Blomer?
Name
Robert Bloomer
Spouse's Name
Jane Princess
Event Date
06 Jul 1749
Event Place
Yardley, Worcester, England

Robert Princep Blomer probably had a brother, John, baptised 4 Nov 1771 in Birmingham.

Coincidentally, a Robert Bloomer was buried in Rye, Westchester, New York in 1771.

He was the son of Robert Bloomer Jr. (1671-1759), the son of Robert Bloomer Sr. (1634-1713/14).
