Problems with the disks

Postby pre1837 » Wed May 07, 2008 4:36 am

I have e-mailed the producers and am awaiting a reply, but are any of you having any problems with the last 2 disks? Cannot open some of the contents. One states that there is not enough memory and the other gives error #5.

Same as me. I did have a repy to my e-mail that suggested that it might be my 'network' problem if I am on a Network. Well I am not. Tried the disk on my old PC with Windows 98. Works a treat, so I think it might be a clash with Windows XP as the disk states cannot be used with Vista.

Hi

I've just tried my disk. All open ok expect the first one, which throws me back to the main menu showing the third item highlighted. I've got Windows XP.

That is a nuisance, I only have Windows XP. I know there are other cd's which came with the magazine, which had parts I couldn't access and just put those in the 'must attend to one day' basket. The reply to your email suggesting 'network problem' wasn't very helpful. These cd's could be what we term 'downunder' as a 'claytons'. Something that isn't what it is!! [:-]

Thanks for the response. I have now checked all the cd's which came with WDYTYA. Where there has been a problem with opening direct from the menu - I go to 'my computer' locate the 'e' drive (in my case) open the media folder and go from there. Success at last. But a rather long way around. Cheers from a sunny winter day downunder.
