I am trying to track down John Wallace born in Cupar Fife Scotland on 24 Mar 1866. In 1881 he was living in Leuchars village Scotland with his mother, sister and brother. He was a paper mill worker. In 1891, he was no longer living with his mother. also to note all 3 children were illegitimate.

Any idea on how I could trace him.

hi
Have you tried
http://baph.org.uk/reference/papermakersindex.html
British papermaker historians have a index they will search for you.
Might be worth a look

There also a John Wallace miner from Fifeshire born 1865 crossing the US/Canadian border from Quebec Jan 1904 on Ancestry
