1911 Census

Postby C Verrill » Thu Sep 01, 2016 12:33 pm

Can anyone explain to me why Ancestry is not throwing up my Worthington/Lloyd family from Oldbury in the 1911 census records?

I am getting really frustrated and can't find any of the family in this year:

John William Lloyd born 1874 and died 13.3.1947 in Oldbury - married to Louisa Worthington born 1878 and died 22.10.1952. (4 Lloyd children - one of which died as a baby in 1901 after the census was taken)

Can't see anything indicating they left the country and struggling with war records for John William (presumably he may have served in WW1?)

Any steer would be appreciated.

Thanks - Christine
