Military Pension Record

Postby detectivec » Wed Jul 06, 2016 7:05 pm

I am having some difficulty understanding what some of the codes mean on the index card for the Pension record of my Great Grandfather Frank Connor in particular M.K.C 5731?

I know the 8/mc/6375 led to his ledger entries which have a host of codes and dates on too!

any guidance is much appreciated!

Can you explain to us just what this record is and where it's from?

It looks to be an index card from the Pension Record Cards held by the Western Front Association. Not sure I can help with the abbreviation "MKC" though.

You may find that posting this on the Great War Forum website may help - there are several threads there about deciphering WW1 pension records.

Good luck!
