Most grateful for the second opinion.

Now I need to go through all marriages on my mother's side c.1914-1918 and look at the military service of each groom to see if there is a link to RFA or RHA.

Hi Janey
I yesterday went to a very interesting talk and had a photo just like this (well no bride)but very similar uniform. I would of said that he is wearing a uniform from WW1 from one of the ridden units. I say this for two reasons. 1. He is wearing spurs and 2 his ammo belt is worn across chest like that for comfort when riding - others are lower down.
I will have a closer look at the hat badge when at computer x
