Could you tell me what James Docherty ww1 Disability was. His discharge papers are attached

it just says AS for active service.

Hi.
Reading the rest of the chaps pension papers online it appears he suffered from bronchitis throughout his military career, spending several stints in and out of hospital. At one point it was suggested he should be discharged in 1916 but was not, the notes have been scribbled out. His final discharge looks like it was due to disability was for bronchial asthma. He died on 14.04.1919, no mention if this was related to his condition though.

Hi pawkydawky,
If you got your original image from a subscription website the rest of his papers will be there too, should all follow on from the initial one you have already found.
