WW1 Military Hospital

Postby Jackohara11 » Thu Jan 14, 2016 10:46 am

Hi all, the attached image is what i believe to be a military hospital from the great war. Can anyone confirm this? Or can anyone identify the hospital? Three areas it may have been are france, Lancashire, or South Scotland, it may have been elsewhere though.

To my eyes this is definitely NOT a purpose built hospital ward. It looks like it was probably a school hall, converted for ?military convalescents. But - no idea where!

Looks to me like a church or village hall - the man with his arm in a sling is definitely standing on a stage, and there are stage curtains behind him.
