The fact that there are plot markers often signifies that no gravestones have been erected.
The plot markers are usually removed when a headstone is erected over a plot.

As we have gained from the past, we owe the future a debt, which we pay by sharing today.

Have been in contact with a very helpful man at the cemetary and he checked their records, and no memorials were ever errected on these two graves.

I am really surprised at this, but I'm sure my ancestors had their reasons, be it lack of funds at the time or something else. At least I now know.

For this kind of problem, most of the headstones were continuously watched out and maintained in a certain period.
