Sorry Peter that site was produced under contract for the IWM - no family historian would have been so pedantic with the sourcing requirements.

Thanks for advertising for FindMyPast Peter - I'm sure they'll be very pleased you gave them a mention. I'd missed the very brief mention of their partnership on the IWM Lives of the First World War site.

Ironically, most of the external references I used to source information for my great-uncle on there were from Ancestry.
