WW2 radio beacon at Dernacross, Co. Fermanagh

Postby Beezy » Wed May 13, 2015 7:55 am

I am trying to trace a relative who was stationed at the RAF-operated radio station at Dernacross, Co. Fermanagh (near the town of Belleek), in June 1944. Unfortunately I don't have a name for this man, so the search is proving almost impossible.

I was wondering if anyone has relatives who served with the RAF at Dernacross, or were based at Castle Archdale at this time? I would be very interested to see whether anyone remembers anything about the men who were stationed at Dernacross.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
