#3 PRC

Postby campbrd1 » Sat Oct 18, 2014 12:53 am

My Grand uncle James Theriault was in the RCAF and arrived in England the 9th of March 1942 and on the 10th of March 1942 arrives at #3PRC, that I believe was in Uxbridge at the time of his arrival. Later in July 1942 I believe #3 PRC was moved to Bournemouth in the south of England. James was a Radio Mechanic (essentially Radar) .

I'm not entirely sure but I believe these centers were just holding depots for RCAF personnel before they were shipped to their units. I could find very little online about #3PRC at Uxbridge, would anyone have more information on what #3PRC was to prepare airmen for once they arrived in England?

Thanks.....Robert
