St. John's Ambulance Volunteer 1902

Postby Diggery » Sat Sep 20, 2014 2:50 pm

I have been searching for the person in this photograph dated 1902 that was found in my Family Album. I have learnt that he is a St. John's Ambulance volunteer in their early Boer War uniform. The St. Johns Ambulance Sevice supplimented the Army's Medical Corps in the Boer War and later adopted a heavier uniform as the British Army. The St. John's Museum have searched their Volunteer records for my family names of Snoad and Cutter without success and so I am at a loss where to look next. Does anyone know of any other indexes or have any suggestions or even recognise the photographic subject himself?
