Searching for WW1 Canadian soldier

Postby hullnow » Sat Aug 30, 2014 4:12 pm

While researching my family I discovered my g.father who was born in Scotland served with the 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles in 1915.My brickwall came about due to the attestation papers on the Canadian archives being incorret, showing a different named soldier against my g.f details.I received a great deal of help from members of the web site forum and thanks to them I am now further down the right road to my g.f I would recommend this site to anyone who has a Canadian vetran in their family,it assisted me anyway.
