No I'm not after anyone else.
It is consistent on all my ancestor's children's m. Cert. that he is a gunmaker.
You are correct, I do not know if he was a soldier and I have checked out the Gun
Makers guild but nothing there on my Robert Woodhouse.
This family are very elusive and I may never find him but I'm having a jolly good try.

Case of crossed wires. I am interested in my 5x great grandfather who was born in 1823 in France to Irish parents. Father who was a soldier in the British army
