Is it possible to deduce the order of units a man served with from his medal card. I think he was with:
1. East Yorkshire Regiment
2. Liverpool Regiment
3. Irish Fusilliers
Based on the numbers added to the card. If so do I assume he was Acting QMS for Irish Fusilliers?
Image below (sorry the first is too small).

His Silver War Badge record says 29304 AQMS Harry S Moffatt of Royal Irish Fusiliers enlisted 15 Jul 1907 and was discharged 21 Apr 1919 so he was AQMS in Royal Irish Fusiliers and that was his last unit.

Thank you for this. How did you find Silver War Badge info? I had thought Irish Fusiliers his last unit (3 on image above) but the amended card is rather confusing.

I found it on ancestry , though I see they are on fmp too. I just ran a general military search with his name. I've just seen on fmp his 1904 attestation papers for the East Yorks Regt.( Militia)

Hmm I've not seen this on Ancestry, just UK sub since my retirement, will try a general search. I may have to pay for the FMP attestation as I decided to just keep my Ancestry sub (before the recent problems!)
Thank you again.

You are a star! I followed the link and voila. Having then gone back to a general search in military/silver war badge he comes up, but not when searching from his person area ?!? Yet spelling (using just Harry) and year birth all correspond.
