It is too easy to duplicate military details. And no doubt other things as well. If you are intending to amend something, you need to be careful and ensure that you click "improve" (I think that's the term) the existing data that requires amendment / correction rather than plunge down to enter the data that you have. The "improvement" links are at the right-hand top and can easily be missed in favour of the nice big, visible list to enter new data.

It took me several attempts before I felt comfortable about adding information to this site. During this process I accidentally clicked on the wrong man - there were two with the same name and I stupidly didn't check their service numbers. I now have both on my "dashboard" and cannot find any way of deleting the wrong one. Has anyone else done this and found a solution?

Just send an email Pamela. There's a link on the 'Lives' page. They very kindly merged my 'two' men after I explained the problem.
