vanity publishing

Postby aitch2o » Mon Feb 17, 2014 3:28 pm

I have been thinking about vanity publishing a book I am half way though writing about my ancestors and I realize that because my old eyes are fading I need a typist who is really good with a PC. I would like to know if anyone has been down this road and can tell me how I find this paragon of virtue and how much per hour can I expect to pay? I have been quoted by a printer who will charge £7 a copy for a 50 book run. Does this sound about right?

Any tips would be well appreciated.
