Creating family charts

Postby Chadwi » Tue Feb 11, 2014 4:46 pm

Can anyone give me some suggestions on creating attractive family tree charts.

None of the genealogy programs seem to do this very well (I personally use FTM) and I heave searched online and I can't seem to find either any software for sale that would do a good job or a website that offers a service.

I'm not after big posters, just an A4 size tree, perhaps with 3 or 4 generations, which is nice enough to frame.

Thanks in anticipation

If you search on the internet for "family tree templates" you will be given a choice of websites that provide templates (some free, some you have to pay for) that can be used to produce some attractive (in my view) family trees.

For a number of years now for christenings/naming days I have produced a simple 3 or 4 generation family tree, which I have then framed and given as a christening present.
