Postby eddie parker » Sun Feb 09, 2014 6:02 am

My father-in Law Bernard James Dawes (1912-1990)enlisted in the Queen's Royal Regiment in 1928. He was posted to China from 1932 to 1935 and to Palestine in 1936.He was taken as a Prisoner of War from 1940 to 1945. He was in Stalag V111B. Can anyone give me more information about his overseas postings or his time as a P.O.W it would be appreciated.
Regards
Eddie

If you enter Stalag V111b into your search engine, several sites on the POW camp come up. They may provide useful information.
