Posting a picture

I would like to post a picture to try to get some information about it but is is 30.4 megabytes in size.
Too big for posting. How can I reduce it without losing quality?

Suggest you use your picture editing software to reduce the size to, in my opinion ideally about 250kb for posting on here. You can reduce the dpi to 100 or less and the overall size of the image. It is hard to be any more specific without knowing what software you use. If you don't have any dedicated picture editing software then suggest that you download IrfanView which is free. If the original image is clear and well defined then an uploaded picture of this size should be easy enough to view. 30.4Mb is VERY large! btw: you won't need to lose that picture, just save the reduced size one with a different name (try adding sm for small to end of file name!)
Hope that helps a bit.
