Hargreaves is a very common name in that part of Lancashire - a connection is certainly possible, but the only way is to find the link and the evidence to prove it.

Hi everyone,

I've attached the Hargreaves family tree for you all. He is my Great x 13 Grandfather...the Hargreaves' all still live in and around Oswaldtwistle.

There is a museum dedicated to the Hargreaves family and our heritage in the cotton/textile industry at Oswaldtwistle Mills...it is well worth a visit if you are an ancestor.
