Absent voters lists?? where are they?

Postby familyfind » Fri Jan 10, 2014 9:40 pm

I have seen these mentioned in the past but where would I find absent voters lists for WW1? Most of the people I am interested are based in Suffolk.

Absent voters lists should be in the County Records Office. Many are now being transcribed or indexed. Copies are also available in the British Library, but the CRO ones are normally of more interest as they have often been annotated and updated with more information.
