Creyke/Fairweather/Fowler Tunbridge Wells c 1880 to 1890

I would like to know the approximate age of the lady in the photo, who I believe is wearing a mourning veil.
The undated photo was taken at H. Jenkins Alpha Studio, Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells.I believe he was in the area around 1880's.
My late aunt was told that it was a photo of an "aunt" of Hannah Creyke (1847-1913) of Burythorpe/Nun Monkton, Yorkshire. Hannah did not have any maternal aunts or uncles and her paternal aunts and uncles were all deceased by 1865.
I think it is possible that this is Hannah's sister Jane Creyke, born 1836, who may have been close to Hannah as their mother (Hannah Coates) died only six weeks after Hannah was born.
In 1863, Jane married John Fairweather and their daughter, Emily Frances Fairweather married Albert Fowler in 1891.Emily and Albert's first child, John Hayton Fowler was born in Tunbridge Wells in 1893.
If this is indeed Jane Creyke, this puts her age in the photo around 57 years old, visiting her first grandchild. Jane's father died in 1884 and her son Christopher Fairweather died in 1879, which may be stretching the mourning period.
If anyone could throw any light on this, it would be appreciated, thank-you.

H Jenkins bought the business in 1881 (apparently) and was still at 40 Grosvenor in 1891.
In 1901 he is still working as a photographer in Grosvenor street but not at number 40.
So...potentially you are looking at 1881 to 1900 as a possible date.

I would say your guess at her mid 50s is reasonable. She does have that bone structure that “wears well” so she could be older, but I don’t think she is younger.

In the scenario you describe ..are there photographs of the grandson taken at the same time and place? Or indeed any other family?
