Why do you say that? If it was taken between 1890 and 1900. ( viz sleeves, and also that Edwardian skirt). Then she would have been aged 37 to 47. Given how much older people used to look, I think that seems about right. She still has quite a young face, and while it is hard to tell for sure, the impression is that her hair has not gone grey yet.
