Missing Pynes

Postby cmlister2 » Wed May 27, 2009 10:56 pm

My Grandfather was Walter Douglas Smith Pyne, born Exeter 1874. I can't find him (or his younger brother Charles Edward) in the 1901 census. He worked for the Post Office, & was in Exeter in 1904 because it was then he married my Grandmother, Maud Mary Beer, in Kinsteignton, Devon. Any ideas how to find Walter Douglas? [8|]

It is interesting to note that in the 1891 Census, WALTER PYNE is listed as a BOARDER under Henry and Blanche Pyne, Head and Wife.

His brother is not shown in this household, although there is a Charles CHANNING, another Boarder aged 16, Coachman also born Exeter.
Interested in the surname SNELL circa 1910, Middlesex. and Claudia Vail nee Snell, living and married in Canada from about 1912/16.
