The times on this forum seem to be 2 hours ahead of the UK

I couldn't have posted mine at 6.12pm because I was in the pub

You posted yours at 16.12pm; i.e. 4.12pm.

Hi Ksouthall,Something is wrong though. You posted at 12.56 am on Wednesday 12th but it's still only just gone 11.00pm on Tuesday 11th! So catfordcrooner seems to be right by my reckoning.

See, it's 11.05 but it says I posted at 01.04.

Nope - the times are showing up correctly on my pc so it must be your settings; i.e. my post is timed as 22.56 which is about right.

Victor - your times are showing up as just after 23.00 hours.

You need to go into the User Control Panel and check you are using Western European GMT.

Ksouthall - your post is timed at 23:56 for me, not 22:56 as you see it, and I'm running GMT with zero addition - I.e. correct local time for England. It seems to me that this is nothing to do with the server that the forum runs on - unless of course it is running on multiple servers and we're seeing the effect of different front end servers. And I very much doubt anyone of us needs to adjust either our clock or time zone.

Somewhere along the line servers are getting things out of step as messages are passed. But I really don't know enough to suggest what the issue might be.

And my post has just appeared on my screen stamped 2 hours into the future as 02:20-something when my device says 00:20-something.

Maybe my pc is bigger on the inside. ...

Oh - logged off the forum, killed the Wifi connection and used a different connection (3G or whatever it is) and the times shown to me for my previous 2 posts match reality and are not the same as previously appearing on my screen. But this seems to be an artefact of the Android app as I can post, see the time 2h into the future, log off and back on and the time is correct.
