I have copied details from a family Bible spotted in a charity shop.[/align]The original date was 1761and the first owner might have been someone with the surname Woods. With the Bible was a religious book presented to a Thomas Gibson in 1874 at Didsbury and Barlow Moor Weslyan Chapel.[/align]Inside the Bible the following names and birth dates appear.[/align]Mary Hesketh born July 21 1845[/align]Mary Harriet Gibson born Jan 11th 1885[/align] [/align]Elizabeth Bower born Nov 26 1820[/align]George Bower April 10 1822[/align]Ann Bower Sept 29 1824[/align]John Bower May 1st 1827[/align]Mary Anne Bower March 18 1830[/align]Hanna Bower Aug 10 1832[/align]James Bower July 29 1834[/align]Joseph Stafford (Bower ? ) Dec 3 1836[/align]Sarah Ann Oct 1836[/align]Mathilda Bower Jan 1841[/align] [/align] [/align] [/align]Alfred Berry 24 July 1879[/align]Jane Bowden died Aug 8 1879[/align]Susanna Berry interred Jan 4 1839[/align] [/align]Mary Hesketh born June 24 1801[/align]died Sept 1821[/align]Thomas Hesketh born Nov 1803[/align]died Dec 23 1803[/align]Betty Hesketh born Oct 13 1805[/align]Thomas Hesketh born 6 Nov 1808[/align]Jacob Hulme born July 24 1819[/align]Joseph Hulme born March 22 1821[/align] [/align]I hope this is of use to someone !
