Parisian ship to Canada 1891

Postby mand » Sat May 03, 2008 7:33 am

I obtained the passenger list from findmypast.com detailing my ancestors emmigration to Canada which states it was on the ship Parisian 31 Dec 1891 from Liverpool to Halifax.
However this voyage is not listed on the Allan Line list of voyages nor can I find records of it arriving with the Canadian Records Office
Any help gratefully received

This should help.

Times Jan 01 reports SS Parisian left Liverpool for Portland Dec 31.
Times Jan 02 reports SS Parisian arrived Moville Jan 02 and embarked mails and passengers then proceeded to Halifax
Times Jan 09 reports SS Parisian arrived Halifax Jan 08
Times Jan 11 reports SS Parisian arrived Portland, Maine, Jan 09

All under articles marked "The Mails". Try your local library, they may have access to the Times online.
