Does anyone know how to upload a photo using a Mac with Safari browser? After choosing the photo, a message says there was an error in saving file to disk. It is a jpg file. Please help.

Try opening a Photobucket account (it's free)

It's what I used to upload my photos on this board.

Here's a tutorial:

Or you could try Image Shack:

Tutorial:

Select Message Boards in the drop down box in the resizing options section (this will stop the photo distorting the forum). Leave the tick in the "remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail" box.

Use the browse button to locate the photo on your PC. Once you have located the correct photo, click on it and then choose open, then click ‘Host It' on Image Shack. Wait until the website does it's thing. Then choose: Thumbnail for Forums 1 and copy the whole URL. Paste entire URL into the forum message box and Voila!

The photos will enlarge when anyone clicks on it once it is posted on the forum; but I usually say: Click on photo to enlarge so that people don't forget.

I have found that the easiest way is to download Firefox browser and use it to upload the photograph. For some reason there is a bug in Safari that stops it working (perhaps corrected in the new edition, but that is still at Beta). I still use Safari for everything else.
