Coming Home - Family History Programme

Postby FamilyHistoryAddict » Sat Mar 06, 2010 9:51 pm

There doesn't seem to be a general section for posts like this so excuse me putting it here.

For those with Sky, please be aware that the above programmes are on back to back on Friday on 12 March 2010 - Blighty Channel - thats 534 Sky and 206 Virgin.

They feature:

6.00 Janet Street Porter
6.30 Michael Heseltine
7.00 Michael York
7.30 Christopher Timothy
8.00 Pam Ferris
8.30 Patrick Mower
9.00 Cilla Black
9.30 Petula Clark
10.00 Olivia Newton John
10.30 Donny Osmond
11.00 Susan Sarandon
11.30 Paul Daniels

I have seen some of these programmes before, but not all of them. However,

the stand out programme for me was Patrick Mower. I shall watch that one again.

Cheers, FHA

Hi FHA,

Thanks very much for pointing this out! There's some great stories there...

I've now set up this dedicated forum for talking about TV & radio shows (with the exception of Who Do You Think You Are? itself, of course!). I'll also add Friday's programmes to this week's listings, out on Wednesday on the site and through the newsletter.

Cheers,

Matt

A new series of Coming Home begins on BBC One Wales on Wednesday, November 24 at 7.30pm.
The subject of the first programme is Michael Sheen, with those in later programmes including Ruth Madoc and Michael Ball. Outside Wales the programme is available to Freesat viewers on channel 964.

I watched the Michael Sheen and Sian Williams episodes on iPlayer yesterday. Both were very interesting although iPlayer was very slow.
