John DRUCE RFA — No Service?

Gunner John DRUCE enlisted in the RFA (reg number 273052). He lived in Oxfordshire, but his medal card is empty in the box for Theatre of War. We know nothing of his service history.

Archives and tv

I was watching two repeat episodes of 'Morse' (the Oxford detective series) during the lockdown where Lewis was sent to do research in Oxford Record Office on a brewery company in the 19th century where there were, Lewis said, lots of documents and were uncatalogued (I know the feeling) and someone found it for him in the record office. The second episode was when Morse's personal file on his service had been hacked and changed ...

Crisp, Jesney & Goddard families.

This is my final attempt to ask if anyone has the following families on their family history files please? I know quite a bit about them, but have gaps I would like to fill. I only want to exchange details and not forge relationships.

John Augustus Crisp 1842-1895. 1st wife was Mary Ann Markham 1843-1883. 2nd wife was Julietta Bewsey b.1846 m.1891, not looked for her death yet, or whether they had any children.

Isaac ...
