Just on the offchance, does anyone know what became of Percy after his arrival in Australia?

Percy was born 14 Nov 1925, Steyning district, Sussex, UK and he was the second husband of my 2nd cousin Edith Peggy Lister

The story so far: Edith married husband number one Ivor Henry Andrews-Speed in 1946, Bristol, UK. Ivor was a merchant seaman.

Where could Baden Powell Bowden be buried?

One of ancestors Baden Powell Bowden who was born in 1900. He died in 1977 and it was recorded in Brentwood. I have asked at one or two Brentwood cemeteries whether they have him buried there. But no luck. So where could he be buried? Can anyone help please.

Why didn't Fred serve in WW1?

Frederick Swain Avent was born in Bristol in 1892, three of his older brothers served in the Great War. Alfred George Avent (b1878) was in the “Glosters”, Albert Swain Avent (b1889) and Frank Swain Avent (b1890) were in RAMC.

Frederick doesn’t appear to have been in the military, he married in 1915 and stated his occupation as Clothier. His first son was born in May 1916, that birth certificate says Fred was a Co-Operative Society ...

WDYTYA Digital Magazine Subscription

Good morning,

Not sure if anyone can help with this one for me.

I have recently taken out the Digital Subscription for the magazine and check that the subscription is recognised, which it is online.

I have tried to get the magazine up on the app but there just doesn't seem to be a way to find your subscription on there. Anyone any suggestions as this is not a good start for the digital version. ...

BARKUS — Mon/Welsh — where in 1916?

Private William Barkus died (accidentally) in 10th Battalion of the Welsh Regt (#266679) on the 18 Sept 1917 (buried Y Farm Military Cemetery Bois-Grenier). He is from Newport, Mon.

No Attestation papers/service record.

Medal Card has 3 regt numbers:
Monmouthshire Regiment (#3921)
Welsh Regiment (#15021 and #266679)

Questions:
(a) Which Welsh Battalion was he in as 15021?
(b) Ultimately, I want to know where he was in July 1916.
