Henry and Hannah Binyon

Can anyone help find death/burials for this married couple please? The Binyon is very variable. The couple were married in 1789 in Woburn, Bedfordshire and baptised four children there but the children moved to Islington, London in the 1810s so its possible Henry and Hannah did too but I can't find them. Both were born in Woburn, Henry in 1755 and Hannah c1769.

Thank you.

Ridout,Douglas Jack

I am looking for information on Douglas Jack Ridout. He is my maternal uncle. He disappeared from contact with the family during WW2. He was living in London with his wife, May Rosina Mable, and it was assumed in the family that he had perished in the blitz. However, I subsequently found him living, post war, in Beckenham, Kent, and he died there in 1966. I wold appreciate information from anyone who knew him and ...

Errors on Findmypast

Good morning,

I had an email the other day about my x4 great grandmother Mary Stevens (1810 - 1886) the message was actually referring to Mary’s sister Deborah. Mary was born in Bledlow to John and Elizabeth and appears to have been a late baptism she was 15 when baptised. The information about her birth and baptism came from Bucks FHS which I believe is correct. However, on Findmypast it gives the same baptism date ...

Alexander Hamilton, Perthshire

Hello WDYTYA? readers!

I was hoping the many knowledgeable people on this forum could help me with a family history query of my own - locating my 3x great grandfather, Alexander Hamilton.

In the 1861-1881 Scottish censuses, he is living in Forteviot, Perthshire, with his profession listed as gamekeeper. His wife Margaret and their ten children (all of whom I've found baptism records for) are consistent throughout that period.

In 1861 he gives his age ...

Mary Largeto marriage.JPG
Mary Largeto married John Peneycad at St Luke’s, Finsbury, London on 07 Nov 1784, she was spinster. The name is very unique, she is the only Largeto in the UK on Ancestry, FMP and Family Search. Can anyone see any other record/mentions of this lady? Does anyone know the origin of the name Largeto? It looks like the name has been transcribed correctly, any other thoughts as to what ...
