Help reading a Buckinghamshire will please

Hello, I was wondering if anyone might please be able to help me to read this newly located will? I believe that the will belongs to one of my ancestors but so far know very little about him so would be really thrilled to learn anything that I possibly can from his will. All I currently know is that his name was Nathaniel Matthews and that he was from Wraysbury in Buckinghamshire. Thank you so ...

Missing burial image

I have just found a record on FMP, a burial dated 12 Sep 1794 in Tottenham on the Greater London Burial Index, a burial evidently ordered by the church warden. Yet I can't seem to find an image of this burial on either Ancestry or Family Search, needless to say the record on FMP is simply a transcript. As far as I am aware, the only church in Tottenham at this time was All Hallows. ...

Where is Mayne?

I have a letter of administration from the Cambridgeshire archives which references John Chatteris of Mayne, dated 1495. Does anybody know where Mayne is? I have looked at online maps from the 17th century for Cambridgeshire and for the neighbouring counties of Huntingdonshire and Northamptonshire without any success. I've also searched online and checked a book that I have which is a translation of the Doomsday Book as it lists the names of the places ...

Trial/Prison Records

I have been trying for over 20 years to find out why my Grandfather, Alexander Lorenzo Probin (born 1884 in Lambeth, London) changed his name to Harry Thomas Probin (taking his younger brother's name) when he joined the Royal Marines in 1906 and kept the alias, even when he married in 1919. He appears on the 1891 Census as Alexander, but I have never been able to find him on the 1901 Census under either ...
