Trouble finding a death certificate

I'm having trouble finding a death for my GG Grandmother, Hannah Edwards and wondered if anyone had any suggestions or advice as to where to go next.

She was born Hannah Leek(e) in Ellesmere, Shropshire C1834 and married William Edwards in 1859. She appears on all the relevant census' up until 1881 when she is listed as a widow (still living in Ellesmere). They had 5 children, John, Edwin, Henry, Alice and Mary Ellen.

After ...

Help tracing any family in Australia

Hi ive recently been looking into my fathers family, David Freeman. He was born in 1927 in Dewsbury to Samuel and Edith. I have found links to the name Bettley who went to Australia early 1900's. I just wonder if there could be any connections still there ? I'm also confused as some family possibly traces to America, Pensylvania. But was always told as a child my father had sibling(s) in Australia and remember them ...

George Hughes..Where in Spain?

I was wondering if anyone reading this can help me find a death certificate for George Hughes?

George was born 29th May, 1920, Oldham, Lancashire.

George, I believe, died in Majorca, Spain, c1987. Aged around 68. Last known address was Shepherd's Bush, London. However, this could be incorrect...there is some confusion.

The story is that George, on his arrival in Spain, got off the plane and sadly died due to an heart attack.

George was ...

Radburn

I am seeking descendants of the Radburn family, who came from Warwickshire. I have the 1871 census details which show Charles Radburn and his family living in West Street, St Mary, Leicester. Charles is a shoemaker aged 38, his wife Elizabeth 43, daughter Emily Ann 16, I think a 'warehouse girl' & second daughter Ann Elizabeth 13 and I think the same trade as her sister.

There are three boarders, Susannah Wilson 19, Albert Wilson ...

Albert Gilbert

Cannot locate the death of the above.
Born 26 March 1885 in Sheffield and married 16 October 1915 Elizabeth Ann Curtis in Sheffield.

I have only found 1 death 13 April 1979 in Conisborough, a retired Collier.
This looks like the wrong one to me?

Liverpool address books

Hi there

Does anyone know if there are address books for the liverpool area for the late 1800's? I am trying to trace the movements of my great great grandfather and where he lived in the area. I know his addresses from census returns in 1881 and 1891 but would be keen to know if there are other sources.

Thanks

Pieter
