Lewis JENNINGS b 1875: Sad Story, No Ending.

One of my paternal 1st Cousins 2xRemoved, is a young man called Lewis JENNINGS. He has a very tragic beginning, then a hopeful spell, before disappearing entirely. I would be so grateful for any help or hints that might lead me to a conclusion.

Mary Ann Jackson b1825

I'm searching for the birth & baptism of Mary Ann Jackson b c1825 d/o John Jackson b1781 & Elizabeth Dodds b1788.
They married on 31 Jul 1824 at Easington Parish Church, Durham; John was a widower from Houghton le Spring & Elizabeth a spinster.
Mary Ann always gives her birth place as Sunderland (probably the name of the nearest large town)

Has anyone on here used Irish Origenes. And if they have, how was it? I have y-dna test up to 37 markers. You can either do maps, subcription or a personal case study with varying prices. Can pin point you surname area a thousand years ago.

Richard Abbay born 1535

I've hit a brick wall in researching my mother's side of the family. Richard Abbay is my earliest ancestor that I can find, but I would like to go beyond 1535, the year of his birth. I have no idea what his wife was called or his parents. Any advice please on how to find them?

One branch of the Gilman family is proving elusive. William Macdonald Gilman (1847–1904) married Helen Elizabeth Ainslie in Berwick in 1871 and they had 2 sons, Francis , 1873 & George, 1875. (both baptised)
In the 1881 census all 4 are living at 6 Cornwall Rd, Paddington. In 1891 the 2 boys are with an uncle, Henry Gilman, at Sutton at Hone, Kent, and I can't find either parent!

James Ernest Hacon whereabouts sought?

James Ernest Hacon was born 1865 in Hackney, London. The son of James Neale Hacon 1835-1914 and Louisa Sarah Hacon nee Last 1832-1896.
James Ernest Hacon married Eliza Jane Capper 1863-1945 in Wood Green, London, 27th June 1886.
James Ernest suddenly disappears after 1891 and haven't found 1901 or 1911 census for him or his wife.
Eliza Jane Hacon is recorded in the 1939 register as living in Chelmsford with family.

Marriage certificate query

Can anyone help explain this entry on a marriage certificate
" married in the parish according to the rites and ceremonies of the established church". Date of marriage is 20th sept 1904. Also where was Marton in Cleveland.
