Freed Convict Tasmania

I have traced my 4x great grandfather Patrick Hall born 1774 Heage, to being transported to Tasmania in 1829, arriving 1830. He was assigned to the VDL company and was given his ticket of leave in about 1836 he was 56 when he was transported. I have all the information for him up until he was given his ticket of leave.
My question is where do I go from here (before I resort to hiring ...

Thomas Walter Spencer Dickers 1860-1950

Hi there I need some help with this man.

Thomas Walter Spencer Dickers is my great grandfather. He married a widow called Frances Powell. Whose maiden name was Seabrook. Frances was married to Thomas under her widowed surname in 1884, and Frances was born in 1852 but died in 1900.

The trouble is after my great grand mother died in 1900, there seems to be no mention of Thomas in the 1911 census at all. ...

lost great aunts & uncles lost great aunts & uncles

According to the 1911 census, my great grandparents, Arthur Frederick Holland and Ruth (Tomlins) had 15 children - only 4 made it to adulthood.
The remaining 11 were born between 1890 and 1909 but don't show on any censuses, so presume they were both born and buried between census years, so I have no first names.
There are hundreds of Holland's in the relevant areas of Manchester - Cheetham, Newton Heath, Collyhurst, Harpurhey.
I've found ...

Address in 1933

Is there any way to find out who was living at a particular address in 1933?
My grandfather (Harry Fisher b:1904) gave his address at the time of his marriage in 1933 as 85 Geoffrey Street, Chorley but I don't know why.
I've looked at the address in 1939 but I can't link the people there then to my grandfather at all.
By 1939 my grandfather is living with my grandmother & her family in ...

Ann Stodd/Taylor - what happened to her?

Ann Shuttleworth was probably born around 1785, possibly in Derbyshire. She appears to have had an illegitimate child, Mary Ann, born in Shardlow in 1805.

She married Thomas Stodd in Aston on Trent, Derbyshire in 1807. Thomas appears to have been a boatwright on the canals.

Other children were born to the couple, John in 1808 and Benjamin in 1810.

I then think Thomas must have died as there is a marriage between an Ann ...

Cooper family

I am seeking the marriage of Horace Thomas James Cooper b.1899 d.1988. He was the brother of my aunt's husband and in the family he was always known as Dick. I got his name from my aunt's death certificate as he was the informant of her death.

A neighbour of his contacted me to tell me he had passed away and mentioned that he had a daughter, otherwise I would have assumed he'd been a ...

Right - not had much luck although this is my last missing census entry.

I am trying to find some elusive info on Elizabeth Holloway. Elizabeth was born about 1835 in Stretton On Dunsmore, Warwickshire and her parents were Thomas and Mary Holloway.
