Android App

I am a bit of a computer dunce, so please bear with me.

I have an android tablet and I have tried many times to download the WDYTYA forum app. It appears to download successfully each time, but I cannot open it.
I just get the tree picture with the green background, which looks ok but I cannot do anything else. I have uninstalled and re-installed it about a dozen times now.

Hi this might be an old question. I gave the research a rest for couple of years, now I have more time. I have tried to install the 2006 cd rom, it installs, but wont start saying it has compatibility problems with windows 7.
Is there anyone who has solved this problem, which I cant believe is restricted to me.

"First World War Site Launches" Article in On the record

As I am currently reseraching the WW1 soldiers listed on my village war memorial I was particularly intersted in the article "First World War Site Launches" in the On The Record section of the latest WDYTYA magazine (July ed).

Initially I thought what a great idea for individuals to be able to add details of WW1 soldiers to a readily available, on line record for any one to see. But then I started to think ...
